I’m a newbie, female, and I was getting used to being ridiculed for asking (apparently) silly questions at every grow store I visited until I found this one. No matter how silly the question may have seemed to the clerk, I was treated respectfully and my questions were met with professional, as well as educational, answers. I’ve learned so much already in only 3 visits that this is surely the ONLY store I’ll be buying my products from. I would also like to honorably mention the various products. There’s so much to choose from, from the planting mediums and nutrients, to technical things like ballasts, tents, inline fans and more… They have things that I currently don’t have a use for in my garden (it’s tiny) but if I ever go Big, I know exactly where to go and who to ask. They even went out of their way to first Find, and then photocopy a feeding chart, specific to the nutrients I purchased and type of garden filtration system that I’m using. They also included a catalog (for my future dream garden) which contained plenty of things for a small garden as well. I’m in love with GIYG. The best hydro store with the best staff, I’ve come across in the last year and I’ve been everywhere from Sacramento to San Francisco and every place in between. If you’re a Gardner, you HAVE to try this place. You’ll love it too!
