The pot is made of such good quality i can use them again and again and again! The roots reach towards the air-holes on the side for oxygen, once they reach that root will self-prune itself and the secondary roots form and start to do the same thing. The cycle continues without the roots circulating around the pot. I'm also growing with a GeoPot and the Air-Pot has twice the root mass! What I really love about these is that when the plant outgrows the container you can just buy another one of the same size and connect them together to make a bigger container.
