Technical

Nutrifield® Coco Premium Bags are the ultimate organic growing medium. This excellent medium is made of coconut husks according to a stringent cleaning, ageing and treatment program. The coco coir comprises 45 percent cellulose material to ensure that the medium maintains its physical properties, so that the medium does not compose or compact during use.

Nutrifield® Coco Premium Bags reach you pre-buffered in order to prevent magnesium and calcium lock-out. This phenomenon occurs when the coco coir has a negatively charged complex surrounded primarily by potassium and sodium. This is problematic when the fertilizing starts. The potassium and sodium are exchanged with magnesium and calcium, resulting in a magnesium and calcium deficiency for your plants. Nutrifield® Coco Premium Bags solves the problem. The pre-buffering prevents this from happening and stabilizes the medium’s pH while simultaneously decreasing the EC reading to less than 1mS/cm.

Plants have complicated air-water requirements and, due to the physical qualities of this excellent growing medium, it permits improved water absorption while retaining the essential 30 percent air porosity. This enhances rhizopheric (plant feeding area) growing conditions, which is vital for healthy, strong plants.
