This fan works great in my 3×3 grow tent, it pushes a lot of air which makes most of the noise but the fan itself is relatively quiet. The noise helps me go to sleep at night but I bought a speed controller to turn it down half way for when I have company over, with the door shut you can’t hear a thing though. It’s been running for a little over a year now and I haven’t had one problem with it, in my opinion it’s better than the vortex and far more quiet.
