When a DS Ballast is in 12/12 mode and ON, and you use the remote to change to 24/00 (24 on), the ballast turns OFF and then turns back ON immediately, re-striking your bulb prematurely and causing damage.
When a DS ballast is in 12/12 mode an OFF, it displays a green light and a RED light (green digital display, red Off indicator light). Didnt anybody tell these guys not to shine red into the dark cycle?
When in 12/12 mode and ON, and there is a power outage, a DS ballast will restart ON, but at neither the time that it was at when the power outage occurred, nor at the start of a new 12/12 cycle. Its new time choice logic is still a mystery to me.

so rad, my plants grow like they have the sunshining on them. the hydro premium digital smart blast works if not as good, better than the sun they get all the light they need but they dont have 2 be out doors getting polluted by all the bad stuff in the air this light is dope! my electricity bill only went up a little bit. the fact that its silent is a huge +++++ great light
