I do not know if you have ever seen the LumiGrow ES330 LED Grow Light, but this thing is amazing. It is one of the most advanced light systems I have ever used. I have been working on indoor gardens for the better part of twenty years and it has been a real pleasure to watch the technology evolve. I just cannot believe that things are so much better now than they were when I began. Companies like LumiGrow are making things so much easier, cheaper, cleaner, and safer than they ever were before.
LED grow lights are the lights of choice for the modern grower. They cost a little more but the electricity savings hand the money right back to the customer. Not only that, they are so energy efficient that they do not need a ballast. No ballast means no rewiring, no electricians, no emergency repairs stretching electrical knowledge to its limit. All you have to do is to plug them in. LED lights are safer, more effective, and put out infinitely less waste heat. Keeping the indoor garden cool and breathable was always my biggest challenge in the past, but the LumiGrow takes that problem away completely.
Not only that, it puts out better light than any other system that I ever owned. This light has specific emitters for specific wavelengths, all of them essential to plant growth. It even has deep spectrum infrared diodes, but that is not all. The LumiGrow has one of the most helpful features that I have ever seen on an indoor grow light. I cannot tell you how pleased I am to own a light with a variable spectrum control. Different plants require slightly different wavelengths, and their needs change from month to month. They can even change over the course of the day. The warm, low sun of autumn that signals plants to bud and blossom has an appreciably different spectrum of light in it than the summer or winter sun. If you want to recreate particular growing situations such as a late fall in a high latitude, then you need to be able to change your light spectrum accordingly. This light lets me do that. I can create my own custom designed growing season. I love it.
